Since the last update, there have been some changes at TRD. TRD has changed its name from TRD Consultancy Pte Ltd to TRD Systems Pte Ltd. TRD has come a long way since its founding days in 2011, providing consultancy services on security, to where we are today, a company that designs and produces its own C-UAS systems. This name change will present TRD more accurately to our customers and allow us to have the flexibility for expansion in future.
We are thankful that we continue to receive an overwhelming response from the last IDEX exhibition in Abu Dhabi, and the interest is mainly from the Middle East region. IDEX has proven to be an important event for TRD this year.
Next, I would like to share that TRD was covered by TIME. Our CEO, Sam, did a candid interview to describe TRD’s business and the counter-drone market. This has elevated TRD’s profile, and we are honoured and grateful for the opportunity. To read more, please click on the link.
We have two events happening in April that may interest you.
First, we have the Counter UAS Technology Conference in London, UK, from the 19th to the 20th of April. Sam will speak at 11.30 am on 20th April. If you are aWending this event, please join Sam for his fascinating sharing of the technology and solutions currently available to deal with UAS threats and his take on what’s next.
As TRD is a big believer in “Seeing is Believing”, we are bringing a full range of C-UAS systems to our customers at our test centre in Thailand. This is happening on the 27th and 28th of April. We will hold a workshop to discuss the different systems and demonstrate their performance. We hope that this will help our customers better understand C-UAS solutions. Please note that this event is by invitation only, but we will organise more sessions in future.
We will continue our Tiny Red Dot journey and aim to be a Global Red Dot one day!
