We start the new year with exciting news! We can finally announce that TRD has won a tender for our ORION-H9 drone guns in Canada. This will be deployed with NATO and used in Latvia. For more information, please refer to the news release here.
We are happy to share that we have set up a Joint Venture with a local partner in Saudi Arabia – TRD Middle East Industry, to start local production of our ORION-H9 drone guns. We are excited to strengthen our presence in the Middle East region as we see massive potential for us to market our man-portable systems. There are many ongoing conflicts and incidents that will require immediate and easy-to-deploy anti-drone capability. For more information on our Joint Venture announcement, please see here.
Along with the Joint Venture, we are also increasing our marketing activities in the Middle East. We were recently at the World Defense Show in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where we displayed the desert-coloured ORION-H9 drone guns for the first time. We had good media coverage, and we are thankful for that.
Seeing is believing. We continued to conduct tests whenever possible. This time, we conducted radar tests in an urban area. This ensures that we know the capabilities and performances of all the systems that we integrate and work with as part of our ORION-integrated, full-suite solutions.
